I think the fact that they had so many issues leading up to the film didn't help it at all. Well that and it deviated so much from the comics we know and love.

Slickly produced but very average super hero action flick. The genre has long run out of gas and I'm not even going to bother checking out the Man of Steel this summer.

I admit the movie was a bit busy and they fail to mention where Nightcrawler vanished to. But I still enjoyed the action scenes and the Wolverine ass kicking sequences. I was also disappointed to see that Halle Berry weasled her way into this film but that was because the previous director ran off to do Superman Returns.
