Something a little different...
This pure jazz guitarist is very fast and skilful, and far better than some of the more famous rock guitarists on this list. R.I.P.

Cool, smooth style. Alot of players have tried to emulate him, but there's only one Wes. His earlier recordings (early 60's) are his best, IMO, if you like good, pure jazz guitar.
