Trastevere 5

I want to live in Trastevere. By far my favorite part of Rome, Trastevere is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city. Narrow cobble stoned, pedestrian walkways wind through beautiful old buildings. Bars, pubs, and restaurants are everywhere, and I'd say that hands down, this is the prettiest part of Rome.

It's not that easy to get to, which is a blessing as it protects it from the hordes of tourists. The best way to get over there is to take the Metro to the Colosseum and then jump on the 3 bus.
