This is a great location to sit and have a coffee. Or to sit and people watch, especially on a warm day when the most fashionable of Rome's population will strut their stuff and continue to shop along the fashion district. There are a number of restaurants and cafes, and clothing and shoes stores.

I wouldn't call the Spanish Steps an attraction per say, but it's a nice spot to sit and relax for a little while. It's basically just a giant set of steps in the Spagna neighborhood. It's very touristy, but a nice spot to sit and read, or watch all the tourists go by. Easy Metro access.
