She is okay, but she is the type of rare, talented actresses who isn't afraid to NOT look 'cute' all the time in roles, who actually ACT, which makes her better than the rest IMO.

Charlize Theron is, without a doubt, one of the sexiest, most beautiful women in the world. That she has real talent as an actress increases her allure. That she is unafraid to act in roles that require her natural beauty to be made over to plainness, perhaps even unattractiveness, is a testament to her self-confidence as a woman who doesn't define herself by her looks but rather by her talent and brains. Truly an attractive woman in many ways.

Beautiful and very natural looking too.

I guess the stereotype is that women this beautiful can't be talented (a stereotype that applies to men, I might add, also), and I suppose I bought into it. Charlize is obviously a very beautiful, sexy woman, but I felt no temptation to see any of her movies. Then, one day, I happened to be up in Hyde Park, NY, with a limited amount of money and not much to do, and "Monster" was the only movie playing at the multiplex theatre across the street from Franklin Roosevelt's estate that I had even the slightest bit of interest in seeing. So I got a ticket, bought my popcorn and soda, and plopped myself down a few rows back from the screen. Wow! I can't say it was the greatest movie ever made (although it was very good), but Theron was an absolute revelation. She was extraordinary, and only the most limited would ascribe it to make-up. She actually makes the character of Aileen Wuornos oddly sympathetic, and that's no small achievement, given the hideous, twisted excuse for a human being that Aileen Wuornos was. Christina Ricci is also very good as Wuornos's lesbian girlfriend (although, if you see photographs of the real-life person Ricci is playing, you'll have to laugh). Hopefully, she'll continue to find film roles that match her impressive talent. And, if she doesn't, at least she'll be nice to look at up on the big screen (as long as she's not playing someone as physically unattractive as Wuornos was).

One of those women who looks like she can pull off a comfy. laid back look in her free-time, while still being at the top of this list when in public. She seems really relatable, which also gives her a leg-up on this list.

The suit she wore in Aeon Flux was nice. She kind of scared me in Monster tho.

Charlize Theron is drop dead gorgeous. She's intelligent, talented, elegant and has real womanly curves. Her height makes her look all the more alluring and women like myself can only wish don't blame any guy for salvating at the mouth for her.

Just saw her in North Country, which though a bit over the top in exagerations, had some good acting - until the dorky made-for-TV-like ending in the courtroom.

Two Days in the Valley was a good view.
