'Essential' Kirk Douglas and apparently the only movie my grandfather ever watched without falling asleep;Kirk isn't having a great day to begin with,but what really causes him to blow it is an abortionist-and his attorney and the connection between the abortionist and his wife,played by Eleanor Parker.Joseph Wiseman-one of my all-time alltimes..who later played Dr.No in the first James Bond flick,as well as Manny Weisbord in 'Crime Story'(my all time favorite show) acts like he graduated from the Kirk Douglas school of acting-first in his class.
