05/16/2007 | Don't know, don't care much if he's fraudulent, legitimate, or in between- this is a neutral 3. The D plus I give him for his acting ability is not phony, I really think the guy is as wooden as Pinocchio nailed to an oak tree.

I suppose to play ball in Hollywood you gotta buy into the whole cult, which is increasingly Scientological. I'm gonna call 1-888-Hollywd to tell them that to the rest of the country, "Scientologist" doesn't instantly equate to "hip." It equates to "gullible, rich and sliding around the skating rink of loose moral standards."

06/15/2006 | A twit, a jerk, and an almost has been I think Tom is a partial phony. I'm sure he's totally sincere about his devotion to Scientology - and BTW has done a great job of pointing out what a stupid pack of idiot bate that little cult is. However, I think he's a phony in his private life and no one will ever convince me he's not. Whether he's doing it to hide his personal preferences or to boost his career he's definately drawing way too much attention to himself and his current so-called romantic situation. I even have serious doubts that the child is his.

06/15/2006 | If I thought Tom Cruise was a phony he wouldn't creep me out half as much as he does. I can understand phonies. What's most scary about Tom Cruise is that I think he actually believes everything he says. Now that's a whole lot of crazy... but not phony.
Of course, there's the very slight possibility that he doesn't believe a single word of it and he's just taking us all for a ride. If that's the case then God bless him because he's doing a great job. A '2' just in case I've been had.
