My  biggest thing about him is not really his mouth,I mean he is just generally not very good looking,he has a waistline that even I evny. When I think about all the groupies this dude has had it really makes me laugh.

With those lips he could suck a golf ball through a garden hose

Personally, if I was his age, having lived his life the way he has, I wouldn't expect to look as good.

Given his high profile status (being knighted and all that jazz), Mick Jagger really sets the gold standard for ugly musicians. Nevertheless, as other comments have noted, infamous lips and ratty hair simply have no bearing when it comes to the inexplicable attention Jagger gets from the groupies. A poster-child for the alpha male effect, (now Sir) Michael Philip Jagger was born on Jul 26, 1943 in Dartford, Kent, England.

When I was in Yellowknife last year, Mick's brother Chris Jagger was in town for a weekend playing in some fairly-decent bluegrass band. Now I'm sure most people have never even heard of Chris Jagger before, but in Yellowknife he made the front page of the newspaper just for making an appearance. I saw him play at The White Fox. He had obviously stolen a couple of his brother's shirts; not to mention mannerisms. I was less than ecstatic at his performance, but those Yellowknifers love folky, twangey jam sessions. So Chris fit in pretty darn well. Now this was where I saw how famous and cool Mick Jagger really is: In the middle a song, Chris went out into the dancefloor and cut in between a 8/10 blonde, and her boyfriend, who was easily the biggest guy in the club. This guy looked like he could break a Jagger in half like a twig, but instead he turned around and gave everyone else a double-thumbs-up. He had a dopey star struck awe all over his face as if to say "Oh yeah! Mick Jagger's brother just stole my girl infront of me! How cool am I!" Yes, Mick Jagger is certainly cool. Not even his disgusting prune-face lips can hide that coolness. He is so cool, that everyone linked to him is cool. And everyone they're linked to becomes cool too somehow. Infact I guess it must take 6 degrees of seperation before someone uncool gets associated with him... Of course as Mick found out at SARS-fest, Justin Timberlake is an exception. Sorry Mick, you can't help everyone.

he is not that bad looking but he has never been short on the gal pals. richer than most of us will ever be. so guess he has no complaints.

For a guy without a lot of good looks,Jagger has had more poontang than a truckload of good looking guys.Being a famous Rock singer has it's perks!(Also,he's rumored to have other "assets" that make other guys jealous).

And he really can't sing either but he has what it takes to front a high profile rock band which makes him sexy to some..(though Im not one of them!)

Creepy to be sure, but he's been around so long and is such a cultural icon I don't even think about his looks in the same way I might if he were an average guy. In fact, he's so distinctively different he falls into a category that can't really be appropriately judged by the usual critera. At least, that's how he affects me.

Hey, I'll takes his looks, his money and women. For me it sure beats being broke, horny and twice as ugly.

With all due respect to IgnatiusJReilly, I don't think Jagger ever did an enormous amount of drugs, even during the swingin' 60's. He came into those looks without any artificial stimuli. Keith, on the other hand, used to look fairly normal (at least to me) until he started doing massive quantities of heroin and morphed into Kharis the Mummy. One of the things that always kept me from trying heroin, even during my days of youthful indulgence, was seeing what it did to the physiognomies of people like Keith, Iggy Pop, Dee Dee Ramone, Johnny Thunders, etc. Heroin addicts never seem to age well (that is, if they live long enough to age at all).

Rock stars are the only people with groupies that don't seem to care how outrageously butt ugly they are. Why is that?
