Might be the most underrated rock death- Holly was musically underrated and had much to contribute before the infamous plane crash. Flashier drug deaths get the ink- but Holly's death was a severe blow to early rock music.

Only 23 years old, a great songsmith at his peak and a terrible plane crash makes Holly's death one of the most tragic losses to rock n roll.
