I watch it for the sheer amusement and the variety of acts. I also find it very funny that the judges are made up of two Brits and one American. Kind of strange for being called "America's GotTalent".Here are some of the finalists that I would like to see win this year's (2009) competition: Voices of Glory, Kevin Skinner, Barbara Pedilla, or Lawrence Beaman. Any of those four get it, and it will prove what great taste America has. I'm waiting for next week's competition so I can see who else gets into the finals. I think once it's all over, it's going to be really hard to choose.

I think that it's ok. It depends a lot on what is going on with the acts. I have gotten used to the judges. They can be pretty irritating. The acts can be silly or they can be pretty good. If I don't have anything to do I will look at it. I liked the act Joseph Hall that was an Elvis impersonator. It is better if he was on his own really. The one that won was not that appealing to me. This season the one in Seattle the acts were pretty horrid. It can be amusing. There was also an impersonator on that did Ozzy Osborne on the previous show that was good. Then I also liked the Britney Spears impersonator. There is just so much to see about human nature on it. There is so much variety. There has been a very good magician on it they said might win now.

The show is very strange, not because of the talent show but because it is so noticeably contrived. The judges, audience and host go through such fake rants that I'm surprised this show is as popular as it is.

Well maybe, but from what I've seen, reality television isn't where that talent can be observed.
