 | GenghisTheHun (168) 02/13/2007 | "I Fought The Law" was written by Sonny Curtis, a songwriter and guitarist who joined the Crickets after Buddy Holly's death.
The first version of this song was recorded by the Crickets in 1959, and released on its 196O album "In Style With The Crickets."
Bobby Fuller made it a big hit later in the 1960's.
How is this song a conservative song? It is about some guy who goes on a robbery spree.

 | Drummond (54) 12/13/2006 | Apparently, the song is "conservative" for the victory of law? I think a point is being missed here, but maybe I'm missing it.
