With witty and acerbic lyrics, it pokes fun at extremes of moral relativism and over-zealous litigation by people who seek to blame others for their situation. ('You should put my parents in jail for raising me in Fife..we value everything the same, we turn it into farce, until we don't know a crisis until it kicks us in the arse')
That falls in line with the thinking of many conservatives in the United States, so I can understand someone thinking that this song could be interpreted as a conservative song.
