 | TerryM (0) 06/06/2008 | The new Tampax tampons are horrible (painful and messy). I recently discovered the Equate brand at Wal-Mart, which is identical to the old Tampax tampons, and will be using that brand from now on.

 | GoinDownSlow (23) 06/06/2008 | Same shitty color schemes, same shitty products to review. Always reminded me of a small stick of dynamite.
Gets a one because, well because without this shit I'd have nothing to mock.

 | offinaflash (0) 06/06/2008 | For decades I used cardboard Tampax tampons. I never had leaks, they were easy to insert and I never felt them.
When they changed their design to the 3 way protection/grip applicator I was very dissatisfied! I waste 2 to 3 tampons every time I try to insert because it wont come out of the applicator and when it is inside, I can feel it and I HATE it! It only fills up on one side and then starts leaking! I have to then change the half full tampon and go through all the trouble of trying to get another one to come out of its applicator! They SUCK! I need to find a brand thats like the old Tampax.

 | jamieswtgrl (0) 04/11/2008 | I have tried every possible variety of Tampax tampons, and none of them seem to work that well. No matter how I insert them, I can always feel them, and they are highly uncomfortable. The cardboard ones seem to be the worst, because they are so dry and difficult to insert. The only good thing from Tampax is Compak Pearl. They are actually semi-dependable and comfortable.

 | fellanie (0) 03/15/2008 | I used Tampax for YEARS and I always had leakage problems. One day it occurred to me that I should try a different brand and I've never gone back. Playtex is much MUCH better, but also more expensive. Its one of those things- you get what you pay for.

 | katherine1331 (0) 02/13/2008 | Even the super-jumbo-huge ones cannot sustain me throughout the day. They leak terribly, and I just generally hate them.
My fave is o.b.

 | JCFantasy23 (0) 08/20/2007 | Yeah it was a lot of fun last night. I bought some of the new Tampax pearls because they didnt have the usual equate brand I use sometimes. I purchased the compact super absorbancy. Everytime I went to the bathroom the tampon needed changed. I believe by the time I went to bed I had to go through 9. Yes, 9!! As I was saying, it was lot of fun when I went out to dinner last night, then somewhere else, and used the bathroom. Sadly for me the tampon had leaked horribly within 2 hours and soaked the entire front of the pants. I never felt the leakage but had to leave immediately to return later with another tampon brand and new pants. I'm not that heavy, and it was super, come on! Just horrible, I wont be buying the pearl again.

 | sandradee1991 (0) 06/14/2007 | Tampax seems to be the biggest tampon company, as well as most popular brand. I tried them for this reason. Pros: -Come in many genius designs. Pearl: easy insertion (well, supposedly). Sport: all around protection (again, supposedly). Compaq: great for carrying around. They even have wrappers that make no noise when opened. Cons: Everytime I've use them (this includes Pearl, Compaq, AND Sport), they've leaked. What good is a fancy design if you're walking around with bloody pants? | mdc877 (0) 05/05/2007 | I have yet to find a Tampax tampon that doesnt leak...and the cardboard applicators are uncomfortable...The compak ones are hard to get in the right position.

 | bleeder (0) 04/10/2007 | They're pretty good at not leaking, but no matter what size, always feel like they're falling out.

 | dsrtg (0) 02/17/2007 | I love the Tampax Pearl brand. Absorbent and comfortable, and the scented ones aren't irritating to the skin.

 | trulyme84 (0) 01/10/2007 | Tampax are really durable. But they always leak. Tampax pearls are better, because the wrapper doesnt make any noise when you open it. I'm pretyy sure these are the tampon of choice for most
