With director Robert Altman's 'Prairie Home Companion' movie having just come out, it is the right time to re-visit 'Nashville', 1975, perhaps his most assured directorial effort and, in it, this remarkable song, entrusted to Barbara Harris' character, 'Winifred', in the closing minutes.

SONG: "Life may be a one-way street, but it don't worry me." Also, "You may say that I ain't free, it don't worry me."

Authored by Keith Carradine ('Tom' in the movie) who, fortunately, did not sing it.
