The Kinsey Report did more to elevate and understand human sexuality than this dude. He brought it to the lowest male dominated caveman level.

I don't see anythig stupid about this guy at all.  He built an empire out of very little, and became an iconic figure doing so.

While his morality can be viewed as questionable, his intelligence isn't in doubt.

If he's dumb, he's the most satisfied dumb guy in America, maybe the world.  The tripe he has provided the reading public will be no lasting legacy or importance and his empire will be sold off as souveniers and fade away within a decade of his imminent passing.  He'll be a 20th century pop culture footnote akin to say Jane Austen from the previous century, successful but not really significant.

Well it's really no brainer, MONEY talks. The guy is hardly what I call an oil painting, but hes not fugly either. Those girls are with him because of his money and who he is, well done to him I mean pushing 70 with five young women on his arm who are old enough to be his Granddaughters. Not many men his age can brag about that.

Hefner's morals are questionable-but he's undeniably a highly intelligent businessman. The fact that Hefner's ambition and appetites are those of a typical 16-year old (i.e. to have sex with as many nubile 18-21 year olds as possible before he dies) don't make him stupid, or indeed any different from countless other talented self-made men. The difference is that obsessive womanizing only enhances Hefner's (carefully crafted) public image. By contrast, openly hedonistic sexual behavior would tarnish or even destroy the reputations of most politicians and CEOs-at least in Puritanican Anglo-American countries.

Here is a guy who built an empire selling pics of nekkid wimmin, as Joe Bob Briggs would say, and made a lot of dough doing it.
