A world ambassador for both the life of the third world and its music, Bob Marley had reached an international audience that was both black and white, poor and rich, young and old, hip and square, and then just when he had us all listening, he was gone.  Fortunatley he was extremely productive in his 36 short years.  His music could be joyous and uplifting or a revoulutionary call to arms.  A party or a political speech.  It's one of music's greatest losses that he didn't make records and tour for anouther 25 years.

Bob Marley made some of the most uplifting music.He died at the height of his career.Unfortunately,he did not seek modern medical help for his cancer until it was too late.
