another favorite character. George Bailey. a good man who had dreams of his own. all his life he gave to other people, even when it meant giving up his own dreams. there were times he did not want to, maybe even felt some resentment. but yet he always put other needs before his own. as a result he made other people's life more enjoyable, by allowing them to live in their own homes.{ his family owned a savings and loan} He pondered that his life was not worth living and even thought others would be better off without him. an angel named Clarence helps him realize how much other people's life would have been like if he had never been born. the very end really shows him how loved he is when the town chips in the get him out of debt. I like George because people can relate to him. a good person, who helps others yet sometimes wonder when is it his turn?
