i've never tipped a hostess... they don't really do much, and I've heard they make a much better hourly wage than a waitress. I think I'll just save my tips for the ones who actually serve me.

If she doesn't put you next to the rest rooms, I think she deserves a little tip.

The hostess is usually an idiot who is paid to look good and do simple chores. Not worthy of a tip in my opinion.
