One of my jarheads swore by the gin and tonic.

Good, expensive gin is worth the time and money. Lousy gin (the poison of impoverished Victorian-era English) is something I wouldn't give to my worst enemy. . .

Extra-dry gin martini, three olives, ice cold. Gin and Tonic, tall glass, dash of bitters, hot summer day. But, as always, with booze spring for some good gin. Bad gin tastes like disinfectant.

Have you ever been trying to spray bug killer at a bug and some of the spray is blown into your mouth? That's Gin.

I hated this stuff for the first few of my booze-indulging years, but I've returned to Mother's Ruin of late. Oh succulent Gin, it's distinctive flavor might just grow on you too!
Seagram's is a decent brand to have on hand.
