 | SanDiegoFunkDaddy (2) 07/08/2006 | The best Mexican food in San Diego. Easy to get to because the Trolley goes right there.

 | HistoryFan (100) 11/01/2005 | This is the cleaner version of Tijuana, MEX. It's sad that they took out those old Bazaar Del Mundo restaurants and stuff.

 | caligula (2) 10/13/2005 | Pretty interesting, but I wouldn't take a day off from the beach to look at it if I wasn't a local and/or visiting for the umpteenth time.

 | anjelone (0) 10/27/2004 | Good collection of restaurants and shops, expecially of the mexican persuassion.
Too bad its built over the original city center pre-massive highway 8 / 5 construction.

 | alpepper (22) 07/20/2004 | Nice stop on any SD itinerary. A note of caution: Avoid the [1 Star] Italian Restaurant there. And what dummy would go to an Italian Restaurant when you got 3 great authentic Mexican Restaurants to choose from (We did).

 | SDAMY (0) 09/30/2003 | Home to the historic Whaley House (which is supposed to be haunted) and full of interesting shops, great Mexican food and those great big Margaritas. If you go looking for it, you will discover some really facinating history surrounding the area.

 | Jason1972 (4) 10/24/2002 | It really didn't knock my socks off but it is a quiet area, nonetheless with some great eateries and craft shops.

 | Fena1640om (0) 11/26/1999 | This is a really fun, festive place to go for some fantastic mexican food, shopping and history. Forget about finding a parking place on Cinco de Mayo though!
