I Alone (Live) 4

This one had a sound that seemed fresh compared to the other modern rock on the radio at the time. I still hear it on many stations.

I Alone (Live) 5

Yes, numbah can be seen rocking out to this tune.  I can even sing it reasonably...

I Alone (Live) 5

Live was a great 90's band, and I Alone is a badass song for rockin' out.

I Alone (Live) 5

Easily one of the highlights of the mid-90's alternative rock period, Live's "I Alone" will be one of the singles from that era that will continue to get airplay even though the genre has presently fallen slightly out of favor. (When the 90's become retro about some ten years from now, this single will be a staple again.) My opinion is largely based on the fact that Ed Kowalczyk's vocals and lyrics sound passionate without being pretentious (especially on the acoustic version). Surprisingly, "I Alone" only lasted 2 weeks on the American pop chart (#38), but who can account for the mainstream tastes back then?
