I've got to agree with LJF777.  You never knew what he was going to do.  One competition some years back, he cost himself some points stepping out on the ice and skating to a rap tune.  Usually, the skaters during standard competitions skate to more traditional musical styles (such as classical), and this was a very daring move on Viktor's part.

Seriously, though.  Viktor Petrenko is very artistic in his performances.  He (along with many others) has truly shown the creative side of the sport of ice skating.

Viktor Petrenko was always unpredictable on the ice. He had a variety of different styles of skating, and I think that says a lot about the skater. He was definitely not boring.
