This must be my most loved series, animated or not. The martial artistry, the imaginitive power, the sense of historical value, character development, animation, and story are all impressive and inspirational, especially how they weave together so well. That it is so well created is mesmerizing, which anyone should be able to appreciate, and the moral undertones are a breath of fresh air from the bleak entertainment typically aired; definately a series I intend on buying.

Great show. Had my doubts where it was made by Nicolodian, however you spell it, but its a great show, I cant think of how it could be better. Has a great story to it, action, and there are many interesting myths in the series, I'm half into season 2 and each ep is as good as the last:)

Mastering the arts of the elements is a true feat and wonderous at the very least. This is an inspiring, imaginational work of art. It not only takes and 'bends' the storyline to mimic a history of sorts, to fill it in with its own world, characters, but the novelty of the idea - has been used before, but not like this. People who master the elements have never been comically represented in a way like this. In this show, "bending" or manipulating the elements are portrayed quite naturally, smoothly and second-natured. A good show considering it seems somehow original

These two American creators did they homework, cuz Avatar looks very much like the real thing.(Japanese Anime) Good job they did on the show! Good stories too. And they incorporated the 4 elements that the Chinese talk about.

This show is fabulous. My wife who generally hates cartoons loves Avatar. It has a great mix of action, plot, and character development. You also get the sense (like Tolkiens Middle Earth) that the world of the Avatar is much bigger than what we have seen so far.
