Hell yes they will be put in. you dont need to be rock to get in they were not juts rap, they wer hard core rock acts of the 80s. they brought rap music into the world & after Licenece to Ill we were seeing rappers come out of the shell & beocme mainstream acts such as public enemy, NWA, eminem, sir mix allot etc they were the 2nd white group to rap (first beeing blondie). If grand master flash doesnt get it they might as well put the beasite boys first then: LL COOL J, RUN DMC, PUBLIC ENEMY & NWA BEATIE BOYS RULE

Occasionally they have played music, but too often it's been rap, and rap has no place in the Hall. Plus, "Brass Monkey" is one of the worst songs of all time. However, they are probably one of a very few hip-hop acts that may be considered -- but, of course, not allowed in.

Don't think it's been 25 years yet, but when their time comes, they do have potential. Mixed rap with alternative music nicely.

I don't believe rappers should actually be considered. There may be 10 at the most deserving of the hall. My problem with considering rappers is that their works are pretty much already done for them. How can they let in people who made it a career of sampling people that may already be in.
