And all of the lists could be exactly the same size and same number of list items in them. And after someone reads a review they could put it back on the shelf in alphabetical order and make sure it is in perfect alignment with the other reviews. And there would be a special section where all of the reviews have been sterilized against germs. And I haven't had a bowel movement in four years.

I do believe this would be an excellent improvement. Often, while trying to design web lists for RIA, I don't know if it's something already done, so, in order to not invade other's lists, I have to make an educated guess and take it from there. This would eliminate that problem.

I don't know how it could be done but it would certainly help finding specific lists or lists on specific topics. I've often gone looking for old lists and couldn't find them because there's no standard for list naming.

I don't see how this would be enforcable.

Though a uniform structure for naming lists isn't imperative (i.e. a drop from five stars), I would like to see this either required by the site rules or at least encouraged and agreed upon by the regular members of RIA. In my opinion, a uniform way to name lists would help a) locate existing lists, as all similar lists would show together under a category (e.g. Songs by Elton John, Songs by Aerosmith, PC Games: Adventure, PC Games: Strategy) and b) avoid duplication of lists. Perhaps I'm just more than a wee bit anal, but hey, others can take advantage of it.
