The original "plastic" rifle. They are worth having and keeping, but today you have to pay "collector" prices to get a clean example. I don't believe a more reliable .22 semi auto has ever been made, before or since. It is light, you can tote it around forever. The example I had (someone "borrowed" it and "forgot" to return it) never failed to function. That is, when the ammo went "bang". It would shoot .22 longs as well as it would shoot .22 lr - I tried just for giggles, but there is no reason to do that anymore. On the downside, the trigger was not particularly crisp, which coupled with its extremely light weight, made it somewhat difficult to get really fine accuracy. It was however decent in that department with its open sights. Scope sighting was a different matter because the steel reciever cover was loosely attached to the receiver and not attached at all to the barrel, so there was, not surprisingly, enough play in the setup that scope sighting really did nothing to enhance its shooting. For plinking at cans or reactive targets at the range, it was a hoot. I wish mine was still around. On the whole, I liked it, but at today's market prices, I can't seem to shell out the money to replace it.EJ
