What can I say, Browning has a little masterpiece with its SA-22. The accuracy with this gun is impressive considering that it is a sem- automatic. At 100 yrds. the gun can hold its own against bolt actions and other 22 rifles. I love the bottom ejection since im a lefty and the take-down feature definently makes it easy to take along. All in all, the SA-22 is a nice little shooter that has alot of innovative features.

Actually, I never had a Grade III rifle, just the lowly Grade I. What a sweet little piece of history!! And, still in production. Wow! One of John Browning's great designs, there is nothing else like it. I can't ever remember having a jam with the one I had, but it would put hot brass next to your skin if you shot it off the bench with the bottom ejection. I used a scope with mine and accuracy was totally acceptable as long as you made sure the barrel nut was tight so that there was no movement between the barrel and the receiver. Great, neat little rifle. EJ

A beautiful firearm. It is also reliable and handy. I think this could be my favorite rifle. The design is ageless. The fit and finish are remarkable.
