For a Dino oil I don't believe you can beat it. It's not just for Diesel Engines, it just means you can use it for a diesel engine. It's a commercial grade motor oil with about the best 'shear' rating a dinosaur based oil has on the market. It is very low in waxes and has a higher level of detergent additive. When it comes to motorcycles where the same oil lubricates the transmission and wet clutch (most Japanese Metric Bikes) it is hands down the best non-synthetic (Dino) oil on the market. You can only buy it in gallon quanities about $13 -15. If it is a highly rated motorcycle oil and commercial truck oil does it meet your cars required oil specs, 10w-40 15w-40? If it does you couldn't do better.
