Norton is the worst! maybe back in the day they were ok,but they got to big for there bridges.Thest thing you can do is never install it!If your running a 5 yr old computer forget it.Norton takes up more than half of your drive, slows down your computer.I could go on and on about how bad norton is.Alot of new systems come with norton~Remove it at once!!!!!! Make sure you get the norton removal tool. Its almost impossible to get this greedy norton system hog off your computer but when you get most of it off you will thank god its like haveing a brand new system>NORTON YOU SUCK ASS!!!!!!!!!

Norton is terrible I'd suggest you get better security like Kaspersky because Norton failed to detect 2 viruses and 3 trojans on my PC and Kaspersky picked them up. Use anything but Norton, it is very slow and if you've got anything less than 2GB of RAM don't bother using it at all unless you want you machine to run like a turtle!

It failed to find Win32.Bugbear.c in a windows *.chm check diskfile, which had an infected outlook express OCX in it. When it crashed on me it did so spectaularly, bit-defender located and reported 5 more generic Trojans hidden in the system. Useless! What happened to the huristic scanning? Protected at all times!

Software crashed (Windows Vista). Tech support was worthless.

Norton Internet Security is no doubt a leader in all the security softwares available in the market today. With earlier different softwares installed in my system for security, I had faced lots of problems. Then I switched to Norton, on advice of my cousin. Since then I never had any issues of virus.Great going Norton !!

Installed Norton (Symantic) Internet Security after McAfee failed to stop a virus and I was forced to wipe out my hard drive and start from scratch. Updated on a regular basis, Norton is as good as most IMO.

norton ruined my pc before. a virus actually tore thru norton and i ended up with over 50 viruses and over 300 spyware on my pc. my pc was so horrible that most sites i surfered on the browser closed not allowing me to get a new av. luckily i found a site that worked and allowed me to dl a trial of mcafee and it removed ALL the viruses norton missed. when ur supposed to b a premium av company and ur reviews get less than 3, means something. hell pc world rated this just slightly higher than the free version of antivir. i actually think antivir is better, removed all viruses and never crashed my pc before like norton has.so chances r u dl this to then ur gonna not only waste money on this but have to spend another $50 on just the av part to remove what this failed to remove or have to reformat ur pc. if ur paying get bitdefender, mcafee or kasperskey or if free get antivur or avast all r better than norton.
