Party, party,party,fun,fun,fun! oh the horrors of the mid to late 90's dance music. This song and dance was so dumb,yet so entertaining to watch people try to do.

Hopefully everybody is 2 sheets to the wind when this gets started. However, a good reception will have a band, and won't gamble with a potentially cheesy DJ.

For some reason the Macarena (and its inbred cousins the Chicken Dance and Electric Slide) have become wedding reception staples and go hand-in-hand with white people dancing. As a prior comment suggests, the best course of action is to make a beeline to the bar or (better yet) step outside to chat with the one cute bridesmaid (or in a pinch the one with the eager ovaries). If one goes with the latter option, you have one perilous trifecta.

Wedding receptions can get silly...I think thats why so many of them are fun. The Macarena or congo line is just part of it. You get to see people at weddings get kinda drunk that don't normally do this....you need some sort of entertainment for them to keep them in good spirits!!!! ;-)

Only saw this once at a wedding. . .and those with some taste simply watched the show in horror. . .
