It seems to me that people have already forgot about this. It will only come back up every summer for a month when the Tour de France is run, and then people forget about cycling for another 11 months.

Man, what a downer. The feel good story of the summer just became the feel BAD story of the summer. Original Storyline: Heroic biker with degenerative hip condition battles back with a superhuman effort in the Alps stage to bring glory to the US. Revised Storyline: Biker with degenrative hip condition sees his lead slipping away in the alps, dopes up, and cheats his way to victory for the US. I'm starting to think that there are two kinds of pro cyclists: 1) those that have been caught for doping; and 2) those who have not yet been caught for doping.

...and the first guy after Lance is a doper. Nice.

Landis has been tested positive for high levels of testosterone. So he'll probably lose this Tour victory.

I so wonder what the French think of an American winning their race for 8 straight now!!!! I wonder if they will try to nail Landis for doping now like they did Lance! What made his winning so incredible is one, he needs a hip replacement, two, he cracked on the second day in the alps and lost over eight minutes, and three that he broke out the next day and overtook all the breakaway riders to win the stage and gain all but 30 seconds back! Unbelievable!!!!!!
