I agree... are our lives just so busy and we so self-important that you can't wait five minutes longer?

Being respectful, civil and patient are outdated and annoying virtues today. "All about me" is the mantra, and the others and their needs or opinions don't count. Just think about it: why older people respect the others? They received some basic civility and courtesy education, both at home and in school. Not happening today anymore.

Although this is a practice that you see quite often, it's very rude.

There are worse things, but it certainly IS annoying to deal with these sorts.

this can really tick a person off. in the USA we are big on waiting our turn in line. IT is the only way it is fair. so yes it is maddening when someone does not think the rules apply to them. sad thing in this world with how mean peopel can be i bite my lip and think what a jerk they are. but say nothing. not worth the risk of getting beat up.and there are nasty enough persons who would do that too;.

Butting in line is definetly something that irks me more than anything else. I hold it up there next to mentally slapping you in the face. It's just disrespectful, and too often do I see youngin's runnin' around doing it because they think it's cool to be disrespectful to others.
