Definitely a cool tune. I remember it just like it was yesterday.

"Birds Fly (Whisper To A Scream)" is one of those great Big 80's singles that many people recognize when heard but can never recall the artist or the name of the song. (In fact, Icicle Works seemed to keep changing the title as sometimes the song is listed as "Whisper To A Scream (Birds Fly)".) Nevertheless, I rediscovered this tune a few years back when the video was played on VH1 Classic and in my opinion this is a great song. The single only enjoyed modest success in the U.S., charting for only 4 weeks in 1985 (peaking at #37); however, this underestimates its influence, as it has been recently covered by a few artists (e.g. Acumen Nation and SoHo, the latter being highly recommended).
