I first seen this product in a tobacco store in Clarksville, Tennessee in August 2007. I am a smokeless tobacco user so I decided to take a closer look. A couple things struck me right away. First thing is that it does not require you to spit to enjoy the product. It is spit-free. For those of you tobacco users who really pay attetion to new and other products this is not a mystery to you. US Smokeless Tobacco Company is test marketing its Skoal Dry spit-free tobacco product in Louisville, KY and Austin, TX right now. Phillips Morris is testing their product Taboka in Indianapolis, IN while RJ Reynolds has their Camel Snus closing in on the same market. The second (and coolest) thing that got my attention is that the Oliver Twist product is imported. It is a product of Denmark and it is imported by a company named RBJ Sales, Inc. in Dresden, Tennessee (Phone: 731.364.5419). That is a little town about and hour and ten minute drive from where I live. I thought that was worth mentioning. ROFL. Now, since I have been waiting to try Skoal Dry for a long time (and still do), I decided to purchase this Oliver Twist and begin my adventure in the "spit-free tobacco world."
Well, that was two months ago. I can say for sure now that I am glad I purchased that Oliver Twist and gave it the old college try. I am currently an Oliver Twist user now. I dip (moist snuff / smokeless tobacco, etc) and use Oliver Twist (small chewing tobacco bits) on a regular basis. I feel I just need to throw in the fact that I hate smoking. I used to smoke but now I can't stand the smell, taste or to be around anyone who is smoking. I have no problems with smokers themselves (my mom, whom I love dearly, smokes cigarettes), just with the nasty habit. ANYWAYS, I want everyone to know I thoroughly enjoyed Oliver Twist smokeless tobacco and recommend it to others who enjoy using smokless tobacco products. And they do come in a variety of flavors but I think the two best are "Citrus" and "Original." They are a good financial return also, or at best, not a bad one at all. I bought my first tin for $3.99 (a tin contains about 30 tobacco bits). I have since found them and continue to purchase them at $3.69 per tin. Scout around. Happy dippin'.
