 | Djahuti (54) 10/22/2006 | Chemicals may mask unpleasant odors, but they do not,CAN NOT, "freshen" the air.On top of that, many people are ALLERGIC to many of the compounds used in air fresheners. There are people in my family who use some such spray after defecating in the bathroom, and I got so nauseous from the "freshener" I finally had to tell them that the poo smells better. You're better off opening the window for 5 or 10 minutes! On top of that, aerosol propellants are bad for the ozone, hence, bad for all of us.
