I can't believe I have gone all these years without checking out Prescriptives. I have been experimenting with drug store foundations and some mineral makeups, never getting the formula or shade quite right. One day I went and got "colorprinted" by a sales associate and she recommended a facial serum and the Virtual Matte foundation for me. I was printed as a blue/red undertone which was totally surprising since I thought I was yellow and for years have been buying yellow-based foundations. Now that I have the correct foundation undertone, I look younger, more awake and even my hair color looks better next to my skin. Give it a shot, they have lots of formulations and can even custom blend if you want to spend the bucks for it. My bottle of Virtual Matte was $32.50 but worth every penny. It does blend well over the serum and my Clinique oil-free moisturizing gel. :)

Prescriptives Magic Powder is sparkly and has a cooling effect to it. However, over time it did cause me to break out with small welts on my face. I didn't experience magic with this product, only a allergic reaction.

I have a hard time with putting things on my face from cheap to ultra pricey, because I break out so easy. However I found that the Prescriptives line works great! Not only does it NOT break me out, it is helping my skin "heal" from MK!! I have tried several lines and most all of them broke me out,or dried me out and Dermalogica was the second worst. So spending a bit more or even less if it works does not bother me if quality costs more then so be it. I LOVE their False Eyelashes mascara too, it does not make your eyelashes feel stiff or hard, does not flake or clump,and it does not cause problems with my contacts. I would recommend this line to anyone looking for a quality skincare and cosmetic line.

I like their shades, but it feels a bit cakey to me. I ues I've just become used to the light coverage of powdered foundation. I wasn't impressed with it at all. The price was to high for me as well. I mean $30 bucks for a bottle of make up? Give me a break!
