07/26/2006 | I don't know about locations that focus solely on grooming, but for veterinary practices that offer grooming, most reputable locations welcome potential clients with tours upon request. Call ahead and ask if you may tour the facility BEFORE setting an appointment.

07/26/2006 | You can get a pretty good feel for a place by talking on the phone to the potential groomer but it always helps to see where your dog will be for awhile. Some shops are not as clean or are too hectic. Get a good look at the set up for a better idea what to expect when you drop your dog off.
