07/26/2006 | A biggie. I can't count how many times people have told me they have been brushing their dog and then complain when I call to say the dog is matted and has to be shaved. Another example is cutting on the dog's hair and telling us they haven't. (You think your hairdresser doesn't know when you have cut your own hair? Mine does for sure!) Also be honest about your dog's temperment. If he/she spooks easily or bites, these are helpful things to know when grooming a new dog you don't know.
