Maude Flanders was the devout Christian wife of Ned Flanders. Tragically, Maude lost her life under a hail of t-shirts which fell from the grandstand of a racetrack.

Maude was nice and all, but she really didn't have any memorable lines, and as we all know, that is what the Simpsons are all about.

OK, but little else. Through all the Simpson's episodes I've seen, she fails to provoke any response in me. Certainly should be brought down from a 5 rating.

Maude was always the kind, Christian thinker. I don't see why she had to go. Though her friendship with Marge Simpson would wary from episode to episode she kept up with the minister's wife, Helen Lovejoy.
