Playful teasing is fun and never hurtful, but most people misuse it.

Just another expression of racism. Some people really, really feel they are superior, and make sure it is clearly displayed. Laughable if not sad.

Especially making fun of a person's disablity, looks, or other things that can't be helped.

My nieces, nephews, and I do this every time when we talk to one another and it's highly entertaining.

Not annoying at all if its my brother and I. Our mockery sessions are usually quite entertaining as we mercilessly bag on each other. My best shot was when I told him to say "they're magically delicious" after insisting that he looks like a leprechaun. His best shot at me that I can think of was something about my ex after I described a Jack in the Box taco as "mutant." Yes, he went there...

The bantering insults that often pass between close friends is another thing entirely.

what purpose does this serve except maybe make the one doing it feel better about temselves because nobody else will after a while. they aren't funny, they are embarrassing and they make themselvs look like crap

What I find both sad and annoying is the fact that there are some people who make fun of other people's disablities, their accents, their looks, and so on. Very heartbreaking.
