Three stars and possibly four as a White Sox player, only two as an Oriole. A dangerous hitter with limited speed, and modest (to be kind) defensive abilities.

Baines was a great hitter, who has an outside chance at the Hall of Fame because of the DH. While he was born in Maryland and fans had a strong fondness for him, he should be known as a White Sox player. He had good years for the Orioles, but his best years and most of them were played in Chicago.

2.5 as an Oriole, and also played for the A's and Rangers. Like Aparicio, I'd think of him first and foremost as a White Sox player, as the bulk of his career and his peak were spent in Chicago.
