The best pitcher in Orioles history was almost as famous for his feuds with his manager Earl Weaver as for his abundant talent. One of the top pitchers in history and probably the best of his era.

Robinson is one of the best pitchers of all time, let alone as an Oriole. He had 8 twenty win seasons, pitched in 6 World Series, won 3 Cy Young Awards, and it wasn't rare for half of his starts to end in complete games. He can still be seen around Baltimore broadcasting O's games and in commercials. He rivals Cal Ripken as the best Oriole ever. If Cal Ripken is #1 on that list, than Palmer is 1A.

Jim Palmer is a no- brainer for this list, being not only a Hall of Famer, not only the greatest pitcher in franchise history, but the most consistently excellent American League starting pitcher of the entire decade of the 1970's, winning 20 games every year in that decade except for an injury plagued 1974 and 1979. Outstanding pitcher, and one of the very greatest Orioles ever.
