Update: Jay Gibbons was a guy who relied solely on power, and apparently on steroids. He had three years with over 20 homers and one season where he managed 100 RBI. However, he couldn't keep himself healthy. He had plenty of opportunities in Baltimore, probably more than he deserved. Despite some flashes of being a strong power hitter, he never really developed into a legitmate star. I'm dropping him down a star after his long suspected steroid use was verified, and his depressing separation from the Orioles when he was unable to make the roster in 2008.
9/12/2006 - *** Jay is currently one of the longest tenured Orioles in his 6th year, and is well liked by the fans. He hits for good power and a decent average, but has a hard time staying healthy. In 2003 he managed to play in 160 games, and ended up with 100 RBI. However, he always seems to be on the DL or on the mend from an injury.

Gibbons reminds me of Trot Nixon of the Red Sox, good but not great power, injury prone, somewhat similar statistics. Decent to good player overall.
