Riddick Bowe and Evander Holyfield were in the midst of a title fight in Vegas when a parachutist known as Fan Man flew to the ring. His parachute got caught up in overnight lights and his legs were tangled in the ropes. He was dragged to the ground and beaten by security officers.

This was a bizarre, almost surreal moment - but you gotta admit, it was a very creative of way of interupting a sporting event. More original than your run-of-the-mill streaker, I guess. Can you imagine what the reaction would have been in this post-911 world we're living in? They probably would have scrambled the jets and unleashed a barrage of side-winders on the poor fool!

Didn't notice that this was on the list already. Funny the first time, but Fan Man beat it into the ground.
