Joe Kapp (former QB of the Minnesota Vikings and head coach at Cal) had a clear track record of unconventional and innovative play-calling, probably a throwback to his years playing Canadian Football. My only regret is that it didn't replace "it ain't over 'til the fat lady sings" with "it's never over 'til the trombone player gets nailed. "
