Jim Marshall runs wrong way 4

Marshall was a great defensive lineman on a great defensive team (I believe hs's in the Pro Football Hall of Fame) remembered by fans for this but remembered by opponents for some great hits. another Purple-People-Eater (probably Carl Eller) had jarred the ball loose from the quarterback and Marshall, disoriented from the pass rush, scooped the ball up and off he went, way ahead of the field, the way the quarterback was originally headed. Who knew (everyone but Marshall)?

His reaction on the field, upon hearing "the news" looked just tragic. It didn't take him long to find the humor in it, though. Welcome to the bench, you might want to tighten your chinstrap when your teammates start in on you.
