Not evil, just an idiot. I'm giving him 2 stars because he did force the Patriot Act on us, granting the government the power to spy on the communication of private citizens without any kind of warrant (Big Brother anyone?) and hold someone indefinitely without trial on the SUSPICION of terrorism. This pretty much means that Bush used our constitution to wipe his ass. As for being evil, he's far from even being 3 stars. I'd actually put him around 1.75 (gotta round to 2). He's no dictator and he hasn't committed 1/4 of the crimes against humanity that others on this list have. Note: even though waterboarding is considered a form of torture, 1) it wasn't committed on a mass scale like the atrocities committed by real dictators, and 2) it's very far from the barbarity of Nazi medical experiments and the torture methods employed by people who earn even 3 stars on this list.

Number 1, We do not have a dictatorship form of government. WE have a democracy. The President is Commander and Chief with MANY advisers. So many speak un-advised as though they understand and KNOW, but really have NO clue to who makes the decisions. Bush is not a murderer. He and the WHOLE country answered to the 9/11 heinous crime inflicted on our homeland. Question: Ask yourself, what would you have done if it was your personal family that was being killed and murdered.

IMHO george bush rates along side many of the prisoner of who he put to death . my thoughts are based on the many troops who died because of his lies UTM.

I think most of the truly evil leaders in history possessed at least some level of competence in order to achieve their evil ends.

Looks like we have some more pointless rambling below from RIA's resident ukulele player (Moosekarloff).I would never claim that Bush has been a good president, although I still do not regret voting for him in 2004, considering the alternative, as I believe Kerry would have been even worse. But being bad at your job doesn't make you evil.

To begin with, when he was Governor of that backward, third world country known as Texas, this murderer threw the switch on more people than anyone else who had such authority in the savage states of this nation where this barbaric practice is allowed.  Not only did he do it often, but he also did it with relish and glee.  A real sickie with a depraved indifference toward human life.  Then, as President, he ordered the "shock and awe" stage of the Iraqi war, thereby raining death on innocent and defenseless Iraqi civilians from above.  In this slaughter, he has the blood of hundreds of thousands of people on his hands.  In insisting on waging his oil war, an effort to erase the skeletons in the closet of his father's administration and to ensure his own re-election, he ushered in civil war in a country that was never a threat to vital U.S. interests nor a haven for Islamic terrorists until his actions made it so.  For the sake of warbucks and political gain, he trashed a nation and tot... Don't get me wrong, I don't care for him in the least but George Bush isn't evil...he just believes in sometimes wrong and unnecessary things, no more misguided than most presidents/politicians.  I'm assuming a lot of people hate him for the war...hmmm, the same war most Democrats and Republicans voted for, and in my opinion are just as responsible as Bush.

A very bad president, but no more evil than half the people that have held the position.  Hyperbole, and extreme language is the great downfall of American politics.

I can do little more than echo what LJF said. I think 5 stars says far more for the people who give him that ranking than it says about President Bush. Disagree with him if you'd like, but putting him on the same level as someone like Adolf Hitler, Jim Jones, or the BTK killer is a show of ignorance. By the way, I love the tin foil hat type description.

I agree with some of his values, but some of the decisions he has made, in my opinion, have not been wise ones. That does not qualify him to be the most evil. If a person thinks he's one of the most evil men, then I don't think a person really knows what evil is.

When we look at the number of people who will do die thanks to the environmental damage done by Bush he will be deemed as the most evil person in history of humanity.

Sort of a gray area , I wouldn't call him "evil" , leaders come and go but it is the government and the views of the pepele as a whole that stay the same and drive these events. I feel badly for the middle east they suffer over reasons of greed. But I feel the same for the US, your not helpless people you wont be killed for speaking your mind. Yet so many dont care or just blindly follow in the name of pride. And will continue as long as there is government and a motive to lie and sacrifice many lifes. bedsides george is not a bright one, it those around him that you should worry about. So really George Bush is not resonsible all on his own for the curnt status of the middle east but he sure hand a helping hand in it.

We can't impeach him because then we'd be left with Cheney! Yikes. NOW John Q. Public has to be good at chess when choosing their president. Checkmate. Hope, we can pull off a stalemate in this game, keep this guy contained until Nov. 2008.

The guy's an idiot granted, but I wouldn't go as far as to call him "Most Evil Man in History" there are by far more stronger contenders on this list.  For someone to gain that title they have to have some level of narrow-minded brain power and stratgedy, unfortunately this guy is way too dumb for those tactics.

@Historyfan Whoever thinks that President Bush is evil needs a reality check. He hasn't murdered anyone, (The people in Iraq are not dead?) hasn't rounded up people into death camps (Never heard about Abu Gurahib and Guantanamo?) , and he doesn't have a paramilitary group that terrorizes the general population. (The Department of Homeland Security is watchting every step you take) If Bush murdered someone, he'd be out of office in a New York minute. To call him a terrorist is nothing short of being ridiculous. (He tooks a war to a country who does not harm the US at all) Hunderts of people die every day in cause of the politic of George W. Bush. The enviroment suffers because of his Oil-Head. I think thats evil.

UPDATE: (The people in Iraq are not dead?) *Yes, but as far as I'm concerned, a lot of people are alive there. It's not that he deliberately wants to harm innocent people; he just wants to get rid of terrorists and sometimes I think Iraq is a bit of a stretch. (Never heard about Abu Gurahib and Guantanamo?) *Abu Guarib was pulled off by some wacko U.S. soldiers, NOT by Bush. Gitmo houses alleged terrorists. , and he doesn't have a paramilitary group that terrorizes the general population. (The Department of Homeland Security is watchting every step you take) *The Dept. of Homeland Security is not a paramilitary group. They don't go around town arresting individuals who THEY think are suspicious. If Bush murdered someone, he'd be out of office in a New York minute. To call him a terrorist is nothing short of being ridiculous. (He tooks a war to a country who does not harm the US at all) *Hey, F.D.R took us to war with Germany and they never attacked us. Bac... One star certainly because dubs pales in the shadow of more evil figures one can think of- but the shrill cry of flag-wavers who bemoan about how their 'tard never committed terrorist acts (this inusuring their precious leader from any labels of 'evil') should get out of the house more. . .(1) dubs is an addict-in-denial who I wouldn't trust to clean the toilet in my office let alone run anything, (2) dubs has lied so often about so many things this website doesn't have the capacity to hold such a list, (3) dubs uses fear to divide a population over theological and sexual issues in the face of more obvious problems (4) dubs seemingly infinite capacity to overlook and not care about the incredible suffering his botched war has caused in both domestic and foreign civilian populations- that's evil. . .he doesn't get me or my kid for his crusade now or ever- evil is slicker and comes disguised, kids. . .
