I suppose we will always be learning. I am not in my fifties yet, hope i do not have to learn much more the hard way. depends on the person, some seem to never learn by their mistakes and keep right messing up bigtime. no one is perfect we may continue to make mistakes sometimes. hopefully not huge ones.

Actually, you can continue to learn things the hard way right up until the moment of death.

This becomes even more true when you hit sixty. I wonder how it will feel when seventy comes along?

I gotta admit I have learned some hard lessons along the way. One thing it does do, though, is make you more mellow.
