This sure brought out the puritan streak in a few people. This is me, and similar to Djahuti, most of mine have been "romances" although there have been a few one night stands. I'm neither a monk, nor dedicated to "conquest" and I feel no shame or pride at the number of partners. And as a little sidebar, there haven't been any STD's or unplanned pregnancies in my history. There are precautions available, even in the throes of lust.

I guess it's better than not remembering how many you've even been with...but...not by much.

Thank you, Djahuti. Finally a reasonable and rational response to one of these silly, arbitrary, and prudishly judgemental list items. Who are any of us to say what is proper or good or right or "optimal" for anyone else? We all lead very different lives full of endless variables. And we change over time. Hopefully we mature. Our habits change. It's a huge (and mistaken) assumption to say that simply because one knows the number then he or she must have been "documenting" their sex life. They may have only stopped to think about it because this arbitrary number was thrown at them. And who has the right to say that a number greater than 21 indicates a preference for quantity over quality? None of us.. that's who.

I'm in this category.I'm not proud or ashamed.I can say that I cared about every woman I slept with.Sure, there were a few "one night stands",but the majority of my romances were just that:romances. Some lasted more than 5 years, some only weeks.I do not regret a single one!If anything,I feel very confident that I know how to thoroughly please any lady I'm mutually attracted to.(And,believe it or not,I'm very picky!)

Definitely not the way I'd ever like to go.

If you got this high and still know the number, you probably have been documenting it. Which means you are probably all about the conquest. This is the type of person who worships quantity over quality in my opinion. This many partners without an STD or an unplanned pregnancy along the way is probably unlikely.
