Mike Boddicker 4

Boddicker was a solid starter for the O's, accumulating 5 consecutive 10 win seasons, including one 20 win season. He was also a part of the 1983 World Series champions. The Orioles traded him to the Red Sox when he was struggling for Brady Anderson and Curt Schilling. Would have been a greater trade for the O's if they had been more patient with Schilling. Overall Boddicker is remembered fondly in Baltimoer, as are the rest of the O's from their championship years.

Boddicker was a member of the '83 World Champs and won 20 the following year. He was probably their most consistent hurler in the mid and late 80's, putting up solid numbers with some mediocre and bad clubs before being swapped to Boston in the middle of the '88 season for Brady Anderson and Curt Schilling. Though Schilling took a while to establish himself, and didn't pan out for Baltimore, Anderson played a long time for them. Boddicker did help the Red Sox win divisions and had some good years before going to Kansas City and retiring c. 1993 or 1994. An above average hurler, a 3.5 as an Oriole, not great, but quite solid.
